You tell Hal, our design assistant, what you want made. A priced brief fills in on the left as you answer, and the centre draws an approximate scale drawing of your pack beside a 1.80 m person. You can change your answers and see the budget move as you go. No 3D model is made on this page.
No. It is an indicative band, shown excluding VAT, so you can judge whether the project is in the right place before you commit anything. Final cost depends on size, finish, quantity, delivery and installation. The studio checks the figure and confirms it within two days.
Type in the budget you have. The tool proposes the smallest changes to scope that bring the project to it, and applies them to what you see on screen. You get a lower specification for your money, not the same thing for less.
Yes. We do not match prices, but we will go through a written quote line by line against our scope so you can see what each includes. If you need to pay less, we offer a version at your figure with a clearly stated scope.
You can save the project to an account, book a call, forward it to a colleague or download the pack. If you go ahead, drawings come first and you approve them in writing before anything is made.
Boxes, gift sets, presentation cases and the inserts that hold the product, for single pieces and for production runs.
In outline. The page draws an approximate scale drawing of the pack beside a 1.80 m person, so you can sense size and proportion. Fit around your product is checked in the drawings, and a mock-up or prototype can follow.
Yes. We shape the insert to the product, whether it is a bottle, a watch, a piece of jewellery or something irregular.
Yes. A packaging prototype lets you hold it, test the fit and approve it before committing to a run.
By size, structure, materials, finish and quantity. Tell Hal what you are packing and how many, and the budget shows an indicative band that moves as you change the brief.
Packaging design is how it looks: graphics, finish and brand. Structural packaging is how it is built: shape, board, closures and inserts. Pack Room covers making it work as a real object.
Card, rigid board, wood, metal or tin, and plastic. If you are not sure, tell Hal to advise and the brief suggests one. The finish can be plain print, foil or emboss, soft touch or varnish, or several special finishes together.
Yes. Tell Hal which rules you have, whether recyclable, plastic-free or certified stock, and the structure and materials are chosen to meet them.
You tell Hal what you are packing and a priced brief builds beside it. A structure drawing comes first and you approve it in writing, then a prototype or sample you can hold. After that the run is made at the factory, finished and packed, then delivered flat, made up, or filled by us.
That is the standard it is built to. Hal asks what the pack has to protect, whether glass or liquid, electronics, or a fine finish, and whether it will be posted. The structure and insert are designed around the real product and the real journey.
From a single prototype to a full run. Hal asks whether you need under fifty, up to five hundred, up to five thousand or more, because the quantity changes how the pack is made and the price of each.
Weeks for a first prototype and a short run, longer for a large run with special finishes. The prototype and sample are approved before the run begins, which is where time is saved or lost. Tell Hal the date and we say plainly whether it is realistic.
Yes. Rigid boxes, gift sets and presentation cases are the heart of the room, for luxury and gifting, for a launch or a press kit, and for trade or display use. The inserts hold the product so it opens well.
Yes. A bottle is one of the shapes the inserts are cut for, and glass or liquid is one of the protection questions Hal asks. Packaging is designed around the real product and sampled before the run.
A structure drawing, artwork, or the product itself helps. With none of those, describe what you are packing and the size of it and the brief starts from there.
A priced brief and scale drawing, an approved structure drawing, a sample you have held and signed off, and the finished packaging delivered in the form you chose.
