Stillroom.Creative agency

Most of what a brand sells is made in stages by companies that never meet. That is where the idea thins out. Here the people who sketched it are still on the job the day it launches.

What this site records

This page describes what happens on stillroomcreative.com and nothing else. If the site grows a field, this page changes in the same change; it never says less than the code does.

1. What is set in your browser

ThingWhat it doesCookie?Consent?
Google Analytics 4Counts visits and which sections get read. Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation are denied unconditionally; there is no code path that grants them. IP addresses are anonymised.Yes, first-party _ga cookies.Yes. Nothing from Google is fetched until you press Allow. "No thanks" expires the cookies. You can change your mind from "Cookies" in the footer.
Microsoft ClarityRecords how a page is used (scrolling, clicks, where people stop reading) so that pages which lose people can be fixed. Not used for advertising.Yes, first-party _clck and _clsk cookies, and Microsoft may set its own MUID cookie on its domains.Yes. It loads only after you press Allow, together with Google Analytics, and "No thanks" expires its cookies.
Cloudflare Web AnalyticsCounts page loads, the page, the referring site and the country, in aggregate, with Cloudflare's own bot flag.No.Not needed: cookieless, no identifier.
The page counter (our own)One record per page you read, sent to our own database when you leave the page: the site, the page, how long it was visible, how far you scrolled, how much of the film played, how many questions you opened, whether you pressed the eye, whether you pressed the email link, the order of pages this visit, the page you landed on, the referring site, any campaign parameters in the address (utm_*, gclid, wbraid, gbraid), whether the referring site was an AI assistant, and whether the browser has been marked as one of the studio's own (so that staff visits can be left out of the count). Country, region and city come from Cloudflare's own lookup on our server; your IP address is never stored. The visit id is random, lives in sessionStorage, and dies when you close the tab. Two page-counter visits cannot be joined to each other. The one exception is a message you send through the contact form, explained in section 3.No.Not needed: first-party, cookieless, no third party, records what was read, not who read it.
Your cookie choiceRemembers Allow or No thanks so you are not asked again. No, localStorage. It is the consent.

2. The desk

Pressing the eye on the home page opens the front desk. We record that it was opened. On the front desk we do not record what is said, and no recording is kept.

The desk is Hal, an automated assistant, served in a frame from stillroom-hub.fredwalkers.workers.dev. The line is voice: your browser will ask for the microphone, and you can type instead. Hal does not quote prices, agree dates, or pretend to be a person. Closing the panel ends the call.

2a. Talking to Hal on a room page

Hal is an automated assistant, not a person. The microphone opens only when you press "Talk to Hal" and your browser asks for your permission; you can type to Hal instead, and nothing is recorded until you press the button. While you talk, your voice is streamed to our speech-technology provider, ElevenLabs, which converts it to text and Hal's replies to speech on our instructions. We do not keep the audio, and we have set the provider not to retain it.

We keep a written transcript of the conversation, together with the answers entered in your brief, so that a person at Stillroom Creative Limited can read it and follow up. The transcript is deleted after 88 days. We keep a record of the visit's day and a one-way scrambled form of your network address, used to apply a limit of two calls a visitor a day; each call lasts at most four minutes, and this record is deleted with the transcript. We do this because you asked to speak to Hal, and because we have a legitimate interest in answering enquiries and in keeping the service from being misused. We do not use the transcript for advertising or to identify you by your voice.

Our providers act for us under their data processing terms. Some are based outside the United Kingdom; where they are, the transfer is covered by the safeguards the law requires (for ElevenLabs, the standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum in its data processing terms). Please do not tell Hal anything you would not want in a written record. To see, correct or delete a transcript, write to info@stillroomcreative.com, give the call reference shown after the call or say roughly when you spoke to Hal, and we will act on it within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

2b. What you make in a room

When you use a room to make an object, we keep the description you typed, the 3D model and the images it produced, and your uploaded photo if you add one, with the date, the room and a one-way scrambled form of your network address. A person at Stillroom Creative Limited reviews them to prevent misuse and to follow up if you send us a brief. We do not use them for advertising. Ask us at info@stillroomcreative.com to delete yours and we will.

3. The contact form and email

The form on the home page asks for your name, your email address, optionally your company and how you heard of us, and your message. It sends them to our own database, and a person at Stillroom Creative Limited reads them and writes back. We keep them with the project they concern. We do not add you to a list.

One thing is saved with a message that is not saved with an ordinary page view: the random visit id described above, and the first campaign details and referring site of that visit (the utm_* tags in the address you arrived by, the page you landed on). That lets us see which post, page or search brought a message in, and which pages were read in that visit. It is not used to follow you anywhere else, it is saved only when you press Send, and it is kept with the message for as long as we keep the message. If you would rather it was not, write to us instead of using the form.

If you write to info@stillroomcreative.com, your message goes to a person at Stillroom Creative Limited and is kept with the project it concerns.

If you write to info@stillroomcreative.com, your message goes to a person at Stillroom Creative Limited and is kept with the project it concerns. We do not add you to a list.
