Stillroom was founded in January 2026 by Michael Farwinger and Rafael Rose James — two industry veterans who'd run production at the largest creative studios in the UK and the US, and decided campaign work could be done faster, leaner, and without the agency overhead. Michael's senior credits include Scruffy Dog Creative Group (Head of Group Operations), Walt Disney Imagineering, Universal Creative, Merlin Entertainments, Six Flags, Czar Films (Creative Director, music videos for Sony, Universal Music, Polygram, Warner Music), and Production Director roles at Millington Associates and Elemental Design, where his clients included Apple, Burberry, Cartier, Chanel, Hermès, Harrods, John Lewis, LVMH, Mulberry, Nike, Selfridges, Tommy Hilfiger and Yves Saint Laurent. Rafael runs the floor — joinery, metalwork, finishing, electronics, paint, upholstery, CNC, and install. Together they keep the studio small on purpose: one team, one floor, one invoice. Briefs welcome on most things involving wood, metal, foam, paint, stone, fabric, light, electronics or motion.
Concept, art direction, set design, technical drawings, visualisations, virtual film, brand-activation strategy, mood, look-books. A senior creative team moving at speed Michael steers — sketch on Tuesday, prototype on Friday. The room where ideas get argued, killed, resurrected.
Joinery, metalwork, finishing, electronics, paint, upholstery, CNC, install crew. A human production team turning the drawings into things you can touch, schedule onto a truck and sign off in person. 460 m² in Deritend with the rare people who can both draw it and run a CNC.
Pop-ups, launches, experiential. From concept to flightcase. Tour-ready.
Window schemes, plinths, vitrines, fixture systems. Built to ship and re-ship.
Flagships, concessions, shop-in-shop. Joinery, finishes, cabinetry, counter work.
Lobbies, bars, restaurants, suites. Sculptural lighting, signature pieces, joinery.
Public art, large-format, gallery editions. One-off or limited run, fully fabricated.
Hero builds and set dressing for film, stills, broadcast, live event.
Private residences, members' clubs, offices. Cabinetry, panelling, statement millwork.
Motion-driven figures, kinetic installs, mechanisms with embedded electronics.
Scenic builds, stage scenery, broadcast sets. Modular, transportable, repeatable.
Tables, lighting, vessels, signature pieces — small batch or commissioned.
Front-of-house joinery: back-bars, service stations, hosting counters, pass-throughs.
Trade-show stands, museum interpretation, fair builds. Modular where it matters.
Subcontract work for architects, agencies, designers. NDA on request.

Sit down, map the build, pin the budget and the install date. Sketch and reference together — same room, same key.
Mock-up in the materials we'll actually ship. Foam-core for spaces, full mat-up for finishes. Sign off on the real thing.
Joinery, metalwork, finishing, electronics, paint, upholstery — same floor, same team, shared schedule.
Crated, ratchet-strapped and on the truck. We hand to your install crew or run it ourselves. We sign it off in person.
Stillroom is a small studio with a working production floor. One team, one site — sketch on Tuesday, prototype Friday, on a truck the week after. Ad agencies and brands welcome.
For agencies with a recurring fabrication need, we run a sub-contract pipeline under NDA — same-day quotes, day-rate options, full ownership of the build, your team takes the credit.
